Donor Advised Funds
What is a donor-advised fund (DAF)?
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a giving account established at a public charity. It allows donors to make a charitable contribution to the account, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants from the fund over time to charitable organizations. Donors can use their DAF to recommend donations large and small, planned or unplanned, throughout the year.
Recommend a Grant to ALLMEP using DAF Direct
Please consider recommending ALLMEP as an organization to support through your donor advised fund. You can also easily set up a recurring grant recommendation—whether it’s monthly, quarterly, or annually—through your DAF.
DAFs give you the flexibility to support ALLMEP through cash, stock, and other assets, while reducing the administrative burden and time required to invest assets and issue grants, making them a strategic, tax-effective vehicle for giving.
When completing your DAF form, consider including your contact information, such as an address, email, and/or phone number, to give ALLMEP the opportunity to properly acknowledge your grant. You may also email us at giving@allmep.org with your contact information, DAF name, and grant amount, to ensure that we can properly thank you for your support.
If your DAF sponsor is not listed in the DAF Direct form, please contact your advisor directly to recommend ALLMEP as an organization to support through your donor advised fund.
