Due February 5. Application here.
Micro grants are just one of the many ways the Jerusalem Model supports its community. We place
great value on the shared efforts of Model members and actively encourage initiatives that strengthen
our community and foster new and diverse collaborations.
Grants Criteria:
Please note – to qualify, the project must meet at least four of the listed criteria.
1. The initiative connects diverse groups or people, either intra-sectorally serving a specific
community; or brings together communities that do not normally have contact with one
another; or an initiative addressing the need for different communities to connect and value
the diversity in Jerusalem.
2. The initiative focuses on an area or community that does not typically receive public attention
and aims to drive positive change in those neighborhoods or marginalized communities.
3. The initiative involves a creative community project that goes beyond the regular activities of
the Model member and encourages fresh, innovative thinking in social fields.
4. The initiative is directed to the Jerusalem Model community—whether through an event,
gathering, or project in a member’s neighborhood—and promotes collaboration among
members in various fields.
5. The initiative is new and responds to a specific unmet need, which must be explicitly detailed in
the grant application.
6. The initiative is experiential and creates clear opportunities for active engagement and
participation.
7. The initiative shows potential for expansion and sustainability. Are there partnerships with
external entities that could significantly enhance or scale the project?
Priority will be given to projects initiated by two or more Model members.
Grant Amounts: between $1,000 and $6,000.
