aChord’s vision is to promote equal, tolerant, and respectful intergroup relations in Israeli society – and between Israeli society and its neighbors – by putting knowledge and theories from social psychology into extensive and effective use by the most influential actors working for social change. We are a unique capacity-building organization that strives to increase the efficacy of activity for shared society in Israel. We introduce pioneering theories and data in social psychology, and through training, consultation, and the development of practical tools and strategies, work together with practitioners to embed these insights in their programs. We partner with the most influential actors working for social change and develop powerful interventions designed to improve how they contend with racism, discrimination, and conflict. Currently, we focus on the areas of Education for Shared Society, Diverse Employment, and Public Campaigns.
