POSITION DESCRIPTION

ALLMEP is seeking a Manager, Social Media and Donor Communications to drive ALLMEP’s presence online and support digital fundraising efforts. Working with a network of over 170 peacebuilding organizations on the ground in Israel and Palestine, one of ALLMEP’s key strategic goals is to amplify the visibility and raise the profile of civil society peacebuilding organizations working in the region. This position will support a communications department dedicated to making civil society a core part of any peace process.

Reporting to the Director of Communications and in close cooperation with the Director of Development, this position will help execute day-to-day tasks supporting the organization’s long term vision and communications strategy, and work with development staff to implement digital fundraising campaigns.

The Manager, Social Media and Donor Communications will manage ALLMEP’s social channels including Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and others. This includes managing the content creation and campaign execution process from ideation to delivery to analytics and reporting. Additionally, this staff member will tailor ALLMEP’s positioning and messaging across a variety of stakeholder audiences. From donors, to policymakers, to key stakeholders, to newly interested parties, this position will depend on strong writing skills and a deep understanding of brand voice.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design creative content and draft copy for ALLMEP’s social media channels
  • Manage delivery and strategic planning for social media campaigns
  • Organize creative content assets
  • Track benchmarks and KPIs relative to the growth and success of ALLMEP’s growing brand online
  • Create comprehensive impact reports and adjust ALLMEP’s social media strategy to meet campaign goals
  • Identify gaps and opportunities in the social landscape as it pertains to amplifying the visibility of peacebuilding among donor and stakeholder audiences
  • Writing blogs and drafting email copy that amplify the visibility of ALLMEP members and our programs
  • Test and implement strategies for donor engagement and online fundraising methodologies in collaboration with the development team
  • Support donor database management
  • Support planning and execution of virtual and in-person events

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing or social media management
  • Experience building communication plans using social schedulers
  • Experience with social media listening tools
  • Background in content creation and data visualization
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and/or other design tools
  • Proficient with ads managers, paid social marketing, and budgeting
  • Exceptional writing skills, background with crafting donor facing materials
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: curious and open to experimentation
  • Attentive to social media trends and user behaviors
  • Ability to take initiative and pursue goals with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, storytelling, and presentation skills

 

*Exceptional candidates will also bring:

  • Additional language capacities (Hebrew, Arabic, French, or German)
  • Video editing skills
  • Background in email marketing and content management systems
  • Familiarity with donor CRMs (EveryAction, Salesforce, Lightful)
  • Familiar with fundraising strategies

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

There are no extraordinary physical requirements for the performance of the essential functions of this position. ALLMEP will make reasonable accommodation to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

This is a full time remote position. ALLMEP currently has staff or offices in New York City, Dallas, Washington, DC, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Berlin, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Ramallah. Salary will be based on experience and industry standards, with a range of $45,000 to $75,000 annually.  We aim to offer competitive compensation, and salaries will be aligned with cost of living considerations for the candidate’s location. The final offer will comply with applicable local laws and regulations regarding pay equity and transparency.
