Peace Activation with Eva Dalak: Leading with Impact: Gender- Responsive Leadership (Forum 1325 for Political Agreement)

This 60-minute interactive session will explore the principles and practices of gender-responsive leadership in the context of conflict transformation. Grounded in the spirit of UNSCR 1325, participants will examine how inclusive leadership can challenge power imbalances, amplify women’s agency, and foster more just and sustainable peace outcomes.

Through dialogue, reflection, and shared experience, this session will highlight practical tools and strategies for leading with empathy, equity, and vision—across divides and within complex political landscapes.

Presenter: Eva Dalak
Eva is a gender and conflict expert with over 20 years of experience. Her unique background—Palestinian Muslim, raised in Jewish Israel, and educated in a Christian school—shapes her deep insight into peace-building.
She coaches women to build resilience and transform conflict, and works with men to challenge patriarchal norms, fostering empathy and healthier relationships at home and in the workplace.

Hosted by: Forum 1325 for Political Agreement:
A group of Israeli and Palestinian women, collectively advocating for a just political solution to the conflict, and female representation in its negotiation and implementation. We embody Security Council Resolution 1325, which requires the parties involved in violent conflicts to respect women’s rights and support the participation and representation of women in peace negotiation processes and conflict resolution.
