Meet Our Members
The Alliance for Middle East Peace (ALLMEP) represents a network of over 160 organizations engaged in civil society peacebuilding between Israelis and Palestinians. We work in Israel and Palestine to raise the capacity, connectedness, and collective impact of our members toward our shared goal of peace and equality. Internationally, we are the prime interlocutor between Israeli/Palestinian civil society and governments, with a track record of raising the profile of peacebuilding as a policy tool.
Categories
Cross Border
Organizations who run programs or activities serving beneficiary populations that includes Palestinian populations in East Jerusalem, the West Bank, or Gaza.
Shared Society
Organizations who facilitate encounters or activities between Palestinian and Jewish Israeli beneficiary populations living within the same borders.
Uninational
Organizations running programs focused on peacebuilding within a given beneficiary population, in either Israel or Palestine, and often in anticipation of later crossborder or binational engagements.
International Affiliates
A special category of ALLMEP membership for those who share ALLMEP’s values and goals, and work with the peacebuilding field, but whose primary activities are not located in Israel/Palestine.
*NOTE: These categories are not mutually exclusive and most member organizations run programs that transcend the limits of these designations. The activities of many of our members often meet multiple or all of these designations at different times. This diversity is a strength. And a large part of ALLMEP’s mission is to ensure that they constitute one single community working toward peace, security and equality for all

Organization
ALLMEP is a coalition of non-governmental organizations working to build a genuine and sustainable peace in Israel and Palestine through people-to-people programs that promote mutual respect, cooperation, and understanding. Our essential purpose is to raise the profile of our member organizations and increase resources available to support them, by promoting these activities to the general public, prospective funders and foundations, and government leaders.
