Every year on #GivingTuesday, ALLMEP takes time to reflect on our incredible network of peacebuilders and their tireless efforts to enhance the peacebuilding field. From sports to tech, environment to religion, agriculture to dialogue, this group of over 150 member organizations works around the clock to reject a status quo defined by violence and mistrust, and instead promote a more just and equitable future for everyone living between the river and the sea.

Combatants for Peace – From a Palestinian farmer, “I am a farmer, from the village of Shofa in Tulkarm. My land was attacked by settlers, who uprooted 300 olive trees and leveled the land. I was prevented [by settlers and the military] from accessing my orchard and replanting it. Then I got to know Combatants for Peace. You were a true refuge and helped support me on all material and moral levels. You helped me to re-cultivate my land, and provided me with psychological and moral support. All thanks and appreciation, may God bless you.” Combatants for Peace has helped replant the orchard, but the farmer and his family still face regular threats of violence. Consider supporting their work this #Giving Tuesday.
Seeds of Peace – Consider joining the Peace Partners program and support their work to equip youth and educators with skills, tools, and relationships to work in solidarity across lines of difference. Sadaka-Reut Arab Jewish Youth Partnership – Discriminatory policies in housing and education, police brutality, and eviction orders, make it nearly impossible for young Palestinians in Jaffa to build a future in their city, and resist the removal of their community. By training Palestinian and Jewish young people as political tour facilitators, they enable young Palestinians from Jaffa to re-claim their story, expose the city’s erased history and oppressive current reality while advocating for their communities; and second, enable Jews living in and around the city to take responsibility and an active part in changing the narrative around Jaffa in their communities. Support their work here.[/image-wrapper]
Tomorrow’s Women – Tomorrow’s Women trains young Palestinian and Israeli women to partner as leaders by transforming anger and prejudice to mutual respect, facilitating an understanding of the other, and inspiring action to promote equality, peace, and justice for all.
